Sometimes my head is aching when I am thinking of the course that I am going to take up. As the days pass by, I’m getting more confused.
My mom say’s just take up tourism she said, and then I agreed to her. I also want to take up tourism because it is in demand plus I want to travel from one place to another. It takes too many days to decide. Until 1 day I have already made up my mind to take up teaching profession. But why did I choose this course? Really, this was not my interest but seems my friend encouraged me take up this profession. Since, I would like to help the less fortunate people in order to survive. And this will serve as my vision and mission in life. And this was also m heart says. I believe that my dream would be of great help to many people. And of course, to fulfill my ambition, I need to follow a series of steps. And these are the simple steps. Set your goal/desire, do not make shortcuts, discernment, and prayer and be happy. Let us not waste the time. Every second counts. The fulfillment of our dream depends on us. Always be alert and strong in facing challenges. So that we will surpass the challenges in our life. For me, I will sacrifice all that I have in order to attain my goal. I know that it is not easy, but I will prove to myself that my decision will not mislead me. And I strongly believe that my dream will be my life in the future.
Our dream symbolizes the future. And the series of steps also symbolizes our effort in executing it very well. Therefore if we’re going to add it, the result will be the fulfillment of our dreams successfully. And these will serve as our status or outstanding in the future.
As we grow up, there is always something that changes in us. Our growth is always associated with changes. So in just a snap of a finger, everything can change. And we are greatly affected by these problems (poverty next wrath and fury of our environment, crimes, political conflicts, global crisis) and we are greatly affected by these problems that we're that we're suffering. Is there a solution for these obstacles in our country?
Now that I’m continuously growing up, I have already encountered many changes. Changes are not only in me but also in our environment. Specifically in our fatherland. Our environment is getting worst. And people are the only one who can do something to change it. As a youth, I can contribute an improvement to my fatherland by all means of studying very well. I believe that this is one of the most important things that we can render to our nation. We should also serve as a good role model to our fellow youths by not using drugs, by not destroying the nature, not committing or doing any crimes. To sum it up let us involve our self to any activity that would develop our own personality and good character. It is in our own hands. We are the only one who can do something to improve it.
We should always remember this quotation: “God always forgives, man sometimes forgives but nature never forgives.” So we should take good care of our nature. Let’s not wait Mother Nature to take revenge. Even in our own house and even in our own community, we can start that change. Let’s stop destroying our nature rather clean it. In that way we can save mother earth.
Change starts in our selves. Change those bad attitudes. Make changes in our community even in our own simple deeds.
Almost 8 months passed by so fast and another Grading was over. Every quarter we used to learn something in the different subject matters. We learn to be patient and to study harder because it is going to be another period that we will be encounter and more difficult than the previous quarters. It's nice to learn more and to enjoy more as the days passes by.
In our TLE subject making a web page is the main lesson in the third grading period. Through Microsoft FrontPage we are able to make a web page. I then realized that making a web page is not easy. You need to patient enough to design a web page. I also learn that Microsoft FrontPage is very useful in making these designs. Our work became faster, without this maybe we are now typing our HTML tags in our notepad. In studying the web page designs, I encountered several problems. One of these is how to design. I don't know where to put the pictures and text in the web page. I also learned how important listening is. We encountered a problem when our web page is not correct, we didn’t follow the instructions. I should be attentive in my class.
These are the things that I’ve done to surpass my obstacles: Listening, learning, Listening to instructions, learn in our own mistakes and by self improvement.
This grading period is a very busy grading period. Learning how to make a web page is not easy but the hardship is there. Lastly, after 2 months we will be graduating in High School, all the things I learned will not be thrown away like trash. Even though this 2 months will be more difficult, hectic and complicated. I will surely last it very memorable and fun.
A thousand years ago, in a place called Bethlehem, where Mama Mary gave birth to Jesus Christ. The three wise men from the East journeyed with their gifts of incense, gold, and myrrh to bow down before Him. He is CHRIST, the savior of mankind, they said!
Yes, that one cold silent night, Jesus Christ was born. And the whole Earth was filled with joy... And all the man's depravities were redeemed.
I often hear and watch the story of Christ's birth when Christmas is fast approaching. When I was young, I merely took it as a wonderful story like those fairy tales I used to love. But there is a abysmal sense on that story and that is, the birth of Christ itself. Have you ever wondered why Jesus Christ was born? Well, it's all because of God's great and unfathomable love for us! He gave His only begotten son in this sinful world because He loves us above anything else. So in response to this, we must love our fellowmen and attain happiness and peace from one another. By simple acts of giving and sharing our time or anything we have, we can make others feel that they are truly loved. These worthwhile things must not only start and end during Christmas season. Instead, let us make it to the point that our daily living is filled with the spirit of Christmas!
So as we continue to celebrate Christmas, let our souls be united, for surely Christ is standing there in our midst.
November gave me an hectic schedules. There were lots of activities to be participated and different tasks to be accomplished. Time Management is indeed a great help.
One of the activities was the celebration of the Filipino-Values Month with the theme, "Pagpapatibay ng PAgkataong Pilipino: Tugon sa Hamon ng Panahon." In connection to this, the Values Club officers with their advisers as well as their Department, conducted various activities for the students to develop their skills and talent and so with to strengthened our Filipino Values. Some of their activities were the trivia done every morning, poster making, cook fest and many more. While the celebration was on going, the preparation for the STEP division and Regional competition was also on the go. The division was held on Nov. 19. All the schools coming from Vigan participated. The winning team or individual will represent the City to the Regional level at Mangaldan, Pangasinan. Fortunately, I won in the MS. STEP so I have to represent our Division.
I am Proud to say that I am a part of it. We went to Mangaldan last Nov. 22-25. It's my memorable event in my life.It is my first time to join this kind of competition. Unfortunately, I don’t have the chance to get any of the awards.
After the STEP competition, we went home immediately on 25. Early in the morning I went already to the school to prepare the city meet which was held last Nov. 26-28. Even though I am very tired at that moment, the word of my teacher always hit my mind. "pinasok mo yan, its your responsibility," and they are right for saying that. In the opening of the said program, I there to do my duty being a CAT officer. On the following that of the event, I am with the other RCY members served as the medical team during the meet. The tiredness I felt that time was washed out because of the enjoyment. The last day of November was still a working day. I went to school to lend a hand to Mrs. Abella for the ICT training. It's been a great day for me because the bonding between me and my teacher kept the ties stronger.
This momentous November of my life would be kept forever. Even though it is a long month of tiredness it is also a long month of celebration and happiness.
Time really moved so fast, that I didn't even notice that everything around me had already changed.
The Second Grading was end but the new knowledge and learning’s will stay on my mind.
In this grading, I learned about the Web designing, HTML and working on the Notepad. And still we continued to post on our own blogs, the topic were about the Filipino month, Science month and Teachers' month. The topics were all interesting, especially the last one.
Before I had a dilemma about HTML, but I believe that practice makes perfect. Until I became interested about it because it was about creating a web page. I really wanted to learn and maybe master those things. It was really hard for me to make my post and activities for I didn't have much time. Due to lot of activities.
So I have to balance and set a schedule, time management was the first solution and then the mastery and learning more. It was good that I learn new things.
I know that this are such a big help, I can use it in my daily lives. These things can be applied in the near future and I am excited for the next grading to come. For I know I will be learning new things.
Teachers open up young minds, showing them the wonders of the intellect and the miracle of being able to think for them. A teacher exercises the mental muscles of the students, stretching and strengthening, so they can make challenging decisions, find their way in the world, and become independent.
It is not easy being a teacher. Standing in front of us (adolescent-teens), transferring to us your skills is not a walked in the park. Especially if their chat behind your back. Being teacher means teaching, teaching both willing and unwilling. It means repealing yourself as many times as possible. In a voice so soft and audible, in order to be understood by all. Being a teacher means absorbing your frustration by remembering your obligation. Being teacher means assuring the late bloomers. A bright future at the same time, ensure that the work hard to stay bright. Being a teacher is not an easy task. To the teachers especially to our teachers, I say thumbs up, I salute you all. I am happy and lucky that you are my teacher; I enjoy each lesson you teach. As a role model you inspire us, to dream and to work and to reach. With your kindness you get our attention; everyday you are planting a seed of curiosity and motivation to know and to grow and succeed.
The best teacher cares enough to gently push and prod to do their best. You help us fulfill our potentials. We admire you each day, and I just want to say you’re number one and thank you for everything indeed you are superheroes.
